SanDisk partners with Yahoo music unit

Flash memory maker SanDisk said today it will pair its new wireless music player with music services from Yahoo, but analysts doubt the new gadget will be able to steal much share from the “dominant iPod,” reports AP. “Users of the Sansa Connect device will be able to use a Wi-Fi wireless connection to listen to LAUNCHcast Internet radio, browse Flickr photos and see what Yahoo Messenger friends and other Sansa Connect owners nearby are listening to. LAUNCHcast and Flickr are both part of the Yahoo network.

Osborn Entertainment Software today released a new and improved version of their teleprompting software for Mac OS X. Some features of A Prompter 2.2.0 include the main capability of a smooth scrolling text window, along with many useful features such as full text editing, bookmarks, fine tuning of scroll speed, text file queues (linked files to be scrolled in series), styled text, non-verbal cues, horizontally and vertically flipped text, scrolling with a picture background, save scroll to a quicktime movie, and more.
