Michael Edwards, CEO of HealthWare Corporation and founder of HealthCare Communications, today announced that iMedical 1.2 is now shipping. A pre-release version of iMedical has been running at a major University-based hospital since November. Powered by the Caché database from InterSystems, iMedical eliminates the need for database repairs or database maintenance. It handles billing, insurance, reporting, scheduling, and integrated word processing. Electronic statements will be available during the first quarter, and electronic claims will be available during the first half of the year. iMedical is available in both US and Canadian versions.
