A report in The Wall Street Journal today says that movies from Viacom’s Paramount Pictures are coming to iTunes, notes CNNMoney.com. “The deal will initially cover Paramount’s back catalog, the newspaper said, including ‘Forrest Gump,’ ‘Mission: Impossible’ and ‘The Truman Show,’ which will be sold for US$9.99 each,” according to the story. “The deal is an important step for Paramount’s parent company Viacom, which came under attack last year for its lack of digital vision, according to the Journal. A spokesman for Apple declined to comment and a spokeswoman for Paramount couldn’t be reached for comment, the newspaper said.”
