Senior Apple exec in Japan steps down

Yoshiaki Sakito, Apple’s Vice President of Marketing in Japan, has resigned, reports the Associated Press. While declining to give details on the move, Apple and Sakito reached an agreement yesterday. “Sakito has been credited with leading a successful marketing push for Apple’s iPod portable digital music player in Japan,” notes the story.
