Yoshiaki Sakito, Apple’s Vice President of Marketing in Japan, has resigned, reports the Associated Press. While declining to give details on the move, Apple and Sakito reached an agreement yesterday. “Sakito has been credited with leading a successful marketing push for Apple’s iPod portable digital music player in Japan,” notes the story. “Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president overseeing worldwide marketing, will replace Sakito in an interim position, and a successor has not yet been named, according to Apple.”
