Optima System today released the first public preview of PageSpinner 5.0, the Web development package for Macintosh. PageSpinner is now a Universal Binary and runs natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. Version 5 adds new windows options, interface updates, PHP syntax checking, methods for hiding/fading HTML Assistant and other helpers, a Lookup at W3C-command, Cyberduck FTP/SFTP support, plus other enhancements and bug fixes. PageSpinner 5.0 can now also be set to automatically open documents and helper windows from the previous session. PageSpinner 5.0 costs US$29.95 for a single-user license that includes free licenses for CamSpinner, Optima’s Web cam and video utility, and MapSpinner, Optima’s HTML image map editor.
