Boise, Idaho – September 7, 2006 – roobasoft released rooSwitch 1.1,
an update to its profile switching application. rooSwitch 1.1 adds
faster switching, per application preferences and adds support for
AppleScript and Automator.

rooSwitch allows you to manage multiple profiles for almost any
applications data. Simply drop the application on rooSwitch and
you’re in business. rooSwitch was designed for developers that want
to manage test data sets as well as their real data, but all users
are finding different usages for rooSwitch. Create different profiles
for at work and at home or use the duplicate feature to backup an
applications data before trying a new version.

New for 1.1 is rooSwitch’s ability to move files instead of copying
them. Moving a file requires almost no time compared to copying (this
feature requires the .rooSwitch file and the destination files reside
on the same disk and partition). Also in 1.1 is per application
preferences. Want to move the files for Mail but copy your
NetNewsWire data? Per application preferences make this possible.
Finally, 1.1 adds much needed support for AppleScript and an
Automator action that will allow for easy switching of one or
multiple applications.

rooSwitch 1.1 requires a Mac with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and is
available as a Universal Binary. It is a free upgrade for existing
users. New licenses can be purchased for $14.95. An unrestricted 30
day trial of rooSwitch can be downloaded from
