As so many recover from Macworld/iWorld 2012, “The MUG Event Calendar” heads into the week with lots of interesting material.

Nik Software’s Kevin La Rue will present their plug-ins and iOS app to a California group, while backing up will be the agenda in Australia, drive failure warning signs will be discussed in Ireland, and favorite apps and tips is scheduled to be presented in Alaska. Other topics set for this week include rumors, iTunes, the art of communication, learning with iPads and much more. And, of course, everyone will be talking about what was shown at Macworld/iWorld 2012.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
