MacSpeech Releases ScriptPak for Office 2004

Salem, NH, 2006-02-01: Macintosh speech recognition authority MacSpeech has
released a new ScriptPak for Microsoft Office 2004. The new ScriptPak
installs over 1000 commands into iListen that allows the user to do
virtually anything in Office 2004 that they would normally do using
keyboard shortcuts or menus.

“We announced this ScriptPak — which is actually a bundle of our
previously announced ScriptPaks for Entourage, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
— at Macworld last month and we are pleased to make it available to
iListen users,” said MacSpeech Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers. “This bundle
allows users who use the entire Office 2004 suite to save almost $50 over
purchasing each ScriptPak separately, and is a fantastic deal for our users
that use even three of the four Office applications.”

The ScriptPak for Microsoft Office 2004 is available immediately from the
MacSpeech web site and sells for $59. iListen 1.6.8 or later is required to
use the new ScriptPak.

ScriptPaks work with MacSpeech’s flagship product, iListen, whose
TalkAnywhere technology allows users to dictate anywhere they would
normally type. ScriptPaks enhance iListen’s Command & Control capabilities
by teaching it about the individual keyboard and menu commands in a
specific program. ScriptPaks only affect iListen’s ability to control an
application and are not required for dictation.

MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only
solution for $99, and a software and headset with microphone for $149.

MacSpeech is a Mac-only company dedicated to producing the finest speech
products for Macintosh.
