MacTech New Home Page, Aggregated News feeds
– New look and feel
– Mac Community News Aggregator Geared for Techs
– More accessible MacTech resources

January 3, 2006 — WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA — MacTech today released it’s new
home page at www.mactech.com including a new news aggregation section. The
new home page not only gives readers the latest news and information that
they rely on from MacTech, but now also shows users the latest news items
available from a variety of quality sources around the Mac community.

Unlike conventional RSS readers, MacTech has combined the feeds, and sorts
them by time so readers can look at the industry as a whole, not just the
point of view of one source. The feeds are from sources that many MacTech
readers know, but also from resources they may not know about.

One can see the most current items on the MacTech home page
(https://www.mactech.com), or news only at
(https://www.mactech.com/commnews-index.php)

“In addition to the news we cover, MacTech’s staff has to stay abreast of
all that’s going on in the industry,” said Neil Ticktin,
Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, MacTech Magazine. “This resource has been been
so effective for us, we thought we’d share the resource with our MacTech’s
readers.”

The page can be left open and refreshes itself regularly — to keep the
news current.

The page is a public beta and evolving — so readers should let the
magazine know if they see any issues, and more importantly, what they’d
like to see in the future. is a good place to let
the magazine know what you think!
