iTunes Music Store now open in Ireland

Apple has quietly opened an iTunes Music Store for users living in Ireland. The Irish store offers the same features and €0.99 per song pricing as the other supported European stores. Apple had originally planned to launch an iTunes Music Store for Ireland consumers alongside nine new international stores in October, but it was reportedly postponed at the last minute due to a disagreement with the Irish Music Rights Organization (IMRO).

Micromat has announced DiskStudio, new hard disk utility that allows Mac users to change their hard disk partitioning scheme without the need to reinitialize and erase their hard disk. According to the company, DiskStudio can: add new partitions to a hard disk without the need to reformat; delete partitions previously created by DiskStudio or Apple’s Disk
