IDG World Expo today announced Macworld On Tour, a conference-driven version of the company’s popular Macworld Conference & Expo. The two-day event will be held March 9-10, 2005 at the Radisson WorldGate Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, and includes a highly-focused, contemporary, conference program, according to the company. The event will also feature an “exclusive selection” of the preeminent vendors in the Mac industry. Conference tracks for Macworld On Tour will be broken out into two categories, one for advanced users and one for basic Mac training. Advanced sessions include: Pro/Prosumer Audio, Digital Photography, AppleScript and Automator, Digital Video, DVD, Mac OS X Hints, and Tiger “Supersession.” Basic sessions include: iPod/iTunes/GarageBand, iLife, Microsoft Office, Mac Maintenance Guide, and Intro to AppleScript.
