C/C++ interpreter Ch 5.0, and Embedded Ch 5.0 Released

DAVIS, California, March 03, 2005 – SoftIntegration, Inc. today announced the
availability of Ch 5.0 and Embedded Ch 5.0. Ch is an embeddable C/C++
interpreter for cross-platform scripting, 2D/3D plotting, numerical computing,
shell programming and embedded scripting.

Ch and Embedded Ch version 5.0 are the most stable release. The new release
supports multi-threading in embedded scripting and provides Borland Builder
project sample for embedded Ch. Ch SDK is bundled with Ch 5.0 for free

Former Apple exec sues company for wrongful termination

Tim Bucher, who headed Apple’s Macintosh Hardware Engineering until last fall, has filed suit against the company, alleging that Apple terminated him without cause and failed to pay all due compensation, reports CNET News.com. “As a result of the actions of defendant Apple, the plaintiff has suffered damages including the loss of income and emotional distress,” according to Bucher’s lawsuit. Bucher is seeking to recoup lost compensation, punitive damages and other penalties.

Florida Apple reseller closes doors

The owners of south Florida’s MacCenter have “decided to exit the Apple Sales and Service Business,” according to a posting on the company’s Web site. MacCenter said it is ceasing all consumer and business sales as well as service for Apple Products, effective February 28, 2005. “When we opened this store in 1996, Apple was thought to be failing, and we were thought to be the crazy ones,” a statement reads on MacCenter’s site. “Apple is now thriving, and we’d like to think that you and MacCenter have been a part of that success.
