Apple ranks 442nd on Forbes’ 2005 ranking of the world’s largest companies. The company moved up more than 300 spots from last year, when it was ranked 762nd. The Forbes Global 2000 list shows sales of US$9.76 billion and profits of $510 million for Apple. The company has a market value of $36.66 billion, assets of $9.36 billion, and 11,695 employees.
