Apple and Sundance Channel sign podcast deal

Apple and the Sundance Channel have signed a deal to make content from the channel available via iTunes, reports AdAge (free subscription required). “One of the first iTunes podcast features scheduled from the Sundance Channel and Air America will be talk show host Al Franken. For the budding Sundance network, the iTunes deal offers a potentially potent way for promoting one of its most-hyped programs — The Al Franken Show.” The podcast-savvy version of iTunes is due out next month.

Chronos to release SOHO Organizer and SOHO Notes

Chronos today announced the upcoming release of two new products: SOHO Organizer and SOHO Notes. SOHO Organizer is the successor to Personal Organizer and Group Organizer, and is designed to help small office and home office (SOHO) users manage their customer relationships from phone calls and notes to appointments and to-dos. SOHO Notes is a networkable note manager to store and share “all the miscellaneous information that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else.” Pricing and ship dates have yet to be announced.
