Adobe this week announced Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows only, which didn’t please many Mac users. However, a report on MacCentral indicates that the company is indeed working on an upcoming Mac version of the product. “For our professional applications like Photoshop and the entire Creative Suite, simultaneous, cross-platform releases continue to be critical,” an Adobe representative said in the story. “Graphics professionals often share working files across heterogeneous networks, and cross-platform releases allow them to make a smooth transition to the new version.” They note that consumer products don’t have the same release requirements. No specific release date was provided.
