Vela Design Group releases VelaTerra 1.0 for Mac OS X

iVideo 2.5 adds local network sharing

Waterfall Software today released iVideo 2.5, a significant update to its advanced video organizer and player for Mac OS X. Version 2.5 adds a new feature called “Sharing,” which allows users to seamlessly share movies across a local network. Once enabled, shared playlists automatically appear in iVideo on other Macs within a network. Other new features include multiple library support, three types of libraries to choose from, a live searching feature, and other enhancements and bug fixes.

Griffin offers black iTrip for U2 iPod

Griffin Technology today announced the iTrip-Black, a new version of its FM Transmitter designed specifically for the new U2 iPod. Like the original (white) iTrip, the new iTrip retains its most popular features like unlimited station frequencies and battery-free design. “The new model with its jet-black exterior and red LED light match the new iPod U2 Special Edition perfectly,” notes Griffin.
