Maxon today announced that it has released a free update to exchange data between BodyPaint 3D R2 with Maya 6. The update is available free of charge now from Maxon’s Web site.

MSN Music Store expands in Europe
Microsoft today expanded its MSN Music Store to eight new countries in Europe, reports Reuters. The eight new countries added include: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria and two versions for Switzerland — in French and German languages. These new additions provide the music download service 19 market versions in 17 countries, 13 of which are in Western Europe.

Monster today announced that it has partnered with SoundGate to produce and distribute the iCruze, a US$199.95 iPod accessory that allows consumers to play their music through their car audio systems. iCruze is an interface that enables the connection of an iPod to a factory or aftermarket radio through either the car’s existing CD changer or satellite radio port. Users can select songs and playlists through either the CD player’s controls or the steering wheel controls.
