Engadget has posted a new version of iPodDownload that offers iTunes 4.7 support. As previously reported, iTunes 4.7 breaks compatibility with the plug-in that allows you to transfer songs from any iPod to your iTunes library. The gadget site suggests users that want the iPodDownload 1.1 update “come and get it quick” before Apple forces it to stop distributing the software. (Apple allows an iPod to be associated with only one iTunes music library at a time in order to prevent the digital music player from being used to transfer songs to any Mac.) Update: iPodDownload 1.1 appears to have been removed from Engadget’s Web site.
