During his keynote address at today’s Apple Expo in Paris, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of product marketing, provided several interesting statistics:



    • 7.5 million iMacs have been sold in six years


    • 2.38 iMacs per minute sold since 1998


    • 12,000 Mac OS X applications currently available


    • 58 percent market share for the iPod as of June


    • 5 million songs sold by the European iTunes Music Stores


    • 7,000 people attended the Apple Expo keynote
