During his keynote address at today’s Apple Expo in Paris, Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of product marketing, provided several interesting statistics:
- 7.5 million iMacs have been sold in six years
- 2.38 iMacs per minute sold since 1998
- 12,000 Mac OS X applications currently available
- 58 percent market share for the iPod as of June
- 5 million songs sold by the European iTunes Music Stores
- 7,000 people attended the Apple Expo keynote
