Keyspan has updated USB Server, its software that connects USB devices to a Mac or PC via a wired or wireless Ethernet-based LAN, to version 1.1, which offers broader device compatibility and a tweaked user interface. Much like a USB print server, the Keyspan USB Server enables attached USB devices (printers, scanners, hard drives, etc.) to be used and shared by client PCs on a LAN. It’s compatible with Mac OS X 10.2.8 and higher. Version 1.1 is a free update to registered users; for newbies the cost is US$129.
