AJA Video Systems has announced that its Io FireWire Interface for editing on the Power Mac G5 and G4 has been qualified by Apple for use with Final Cut Pro HD editing software. Io is a SD capture device for Final Cut Pro that supports uncompressed video and audio over a 400MB FireWire cable.
