Konfabulator has added a feature called Konspose, which is designed as the “hip younger brother” of the Expose feature in Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther). Konfabulator is US$25 software that lets you run small files, called Widgets, that can perform a variety of tasks. You can Konspose to make your Konfabulator Widgets become active and visible with a keystroke. The Widgets are perched atop a background that separates them from the rest of your desktop environment. The designers say that Konspose is “great for quickly moving Desktop Widgets or just seeing the iTunes track.” It’s apparently similar to the upcoming Dashboard feature for the next version of Mac OS X (Tiger) that Apple CEO Steve Jobs demoed during his keynote at the Worldwide Developer Conference.
