ATI Technologies announced today that it is now shipping the Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Special Edition. Announced at Macworld San Francisco in January, it has 256MB of DDR memory, with 680MHZ data rate and a core engine speed of 380MHz. The Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Special Edition enables a direct connection with Apple branded displays through dual output ADC and DVI connectors. It has a manufacturers suggested retail price of US$399.
