Xerox Corp. has introduced two new laser printers: the US$699 Phaser 6100 color laser printer and the $299 Phaser 3130 monochrome laser printer. The former has a black-and-white print speed of 21 pages per minute and color print speed of 5 ppm. The Phaser 6100 offers standard two-sided color printing, 64 MB of memory, two print resolutions (600 dots per inch resolution for business color and text, or enhanced 1200 dpi for photo-quality images) and USB 2.0 connectivity (a networked configuration is available as an option). The Phaser 3130 has a print speed of 17 ppm, 32 MB of memory, 166MHz processor, 1200 dpi resolution and USB 1.1/2.0 connectivity.
