Morrison SoftDesign has announced the release of FontDoctor 6.0, a major update to its powerful software for font problem diagnosis and repair. Version 6.0 includes a host of new and updated features, including: more robust support for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther; a redesigned user interface for simplified control; faster, more accurate font problem diagnosis, repair and organization features; and new font organization options. FontDoctor sells for US$69.99, and supports TrueType (Mac and Windows versions), PostScript Type 1, PostScript Type 3, Multiple Master fonts, OpenType fonts, DataFork fonts, and bitmap fonts.
