EverQuest for the Mac public beta test announced

Sony Online Entertainment today announced that registrations are now being accepted to participate in the EverQuest for the Mac beta test. The Mac OS X version of the game, which was announced in July 2002, is “an epic role playing game that you play with thousands of other people over the Internet. There is an entire fantasy world that exists only online and you can get there through your Macintosh system.

Camino Web browser updated to version 0.7

Camino 0.7 (formerly Chimera) is the latest version of the alternative, light-weight Mac OS X Web browser based on the Mozilla project. Version 0.7 brings a new Download Manager, compatibility with URL Manager Pro, a Page Text Encodings menu, Global History in the sidebar, a Send Link menu item and other new toolbar buttons. The update also includes dragging of images and links to the desktop, support for Shockwave Directory content, support for Proxy Auto-configuration, and uses Rendezvous to show local FTP and Web servers.
