Sony Online Entertainment today announced that registrations are now being accepted to participate in the EverQuest for the Mac beta test. The Mac OS X version of the game, which was announced in July 2002, is “an epic role playing game that you play with thousands of other people over the Internet. There is an entire fantasy world that exists only online and you can get there through your Macintosh system. You’ll team up with other players to conquer monsters straight out of legend. An awesome character customization system, hundreds of unique monsters and quests, thousands of items, spells and special attacks.” To apply for entry in the EverQuest for the Macintosh public beta test, you must fill out the online application form. The first phase of the testing is scheduled to begin “soon,” according to a Sony representative.
