24 hour vigil at Santa Monica Apple Store

MacMinute reader Hal Bergman let us know that he is camped out waiting for the new Apple retail store to open in Santa Monica, California. Hal and a friend arrived at the Third Street Promenade 24 hours early in an attempt to be the first in line to get into the store when it opens. OmniWeb 4.5 beta, OmniOutliner updated

The Omni Group has released an update to the public beta of OmniWeb 4.5, the next major version of its Mac OS X Web browser. The new version addresses a number of bugs present in the last release. The company also released OmniOutliner 2.2.2, an updated version of its popular outlining and organizational tool. The new version, which addresses some localization issues, is strongly recommended for French and Japanese customers.

Kensington debuts WiFi detector

Kensington has unveiled the WiFi Finder, a new device that is designed to detect both 802.11b and 802.11g wireless networks.
