Daystar Technology today announced that it has formally started shipping XLR8 MAChSpeed Control – OS 9 and MAChSpeed Control – OS X, cache enabling, protection and testing software. Working in partnership with EchoFX, Inc., Daystar has introduced new compatibility enhancements in a “ground-up” rework of the MAChSpeed Control Software. MAChSpeed Control – OS9 now ships with all new XLR8 brand products manufactured by Daystar. Any product purchased through Daystar Technology is upgraded free of charge.

Indigo 1.2 adds support for PowerLinc USB

Perceptive Automation today announced the availability of Indigo 1.2, an update to the company’s intelligent home control and automation server for Mac OS X. Version 1.2 provides support for the PowerLinc USB home automation interface. Indigo is priced at US$89.95 and requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later. A fully functional 30-day trial version is also available.
