Pixar Q2 profit rises on ‘Finding Nemo’ ticket sales

Pixar, the animation studio headed by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, on Thursday reported an increase in second quarter net income driven by the the box office results of the mega hit “Finding Nemo.” For the quarter ended June 28, the company earned US$19.5 million or 34 cents per diluted share, compared to $10.4 million, or 20 cents per share, last year. Revenues were $48.9 million, compared to $22.8 million last year.

The Omni Group releases OmniWeb 4.5

The Omni Group today released the final version of OmniWeb 4.5, a major update to its popular Mac OS X Web browser.
