Coutour Design said today that it is now shipping the Showcase, a US$39.95 protective case for Apple’s 3G (third generation) iPods. “Through the skillful application of advanced dual-injection molding technology, Contour Design has created a case with a clean, trim, seamless look that highlights the pure beauty of your iPod,” says the company. The case integrates shock-absorbing rubber and a hard, clear plastic shell that allows the buttons to be fully functional.
