Discreet today announced Combustion 3, the latest version of its award-winning visual effects and 3D compositing software. Combustion 3 users will experience “increased productivity, flexibility and improved workflow” through enhancements including: customizable brushes, savable presets, timeline markers, DV capture and output, and “superior integration” with various Adobe After Effects and Photoshop plug-ins. Combustion 3 (US$995) is expected to begin shipping for Mac OS X in early 2004.
