Write Track Media has announced Desktop Assistant 1.0, a new product designed to simplify the process of automating repetitive activity on Mac OS X. The software offers an automation script organizer, a location alias organizer and a database launch pad and complex search editor. According to the developer, Desktop Assistant is “especially helpful for those who are on a computer network with one or more file servers, a FileMaker Pro database server, or those who use — or want to use — a lot of different AppleScript solutions.” The product is priced at US$59 per license ($29.50 until September 30).
