Unsanity today announced the release of FontCard 1.0, a new “haxie” that modifies the Font menu in Carbon Mac OS X applications to show the font name in the font face. It can also add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu item, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu. Unsanity said that FontCard will soon work with Cocoa applications as well. FontCard is priced at US$17 per license.
