Manning Publications has announced the release of “Programming Mac OS X: A Guide for UNIX Developers,” authored by Kevin O’Malley. The US$42.95 book “introduces developers to OS X and to its development environments, technologies and tools. It includes numerous realistic programming examples as well as a tutorial on the Objective-C and AppleScript programming languages. It is written for developers with a UNIX background, or anyone interested in developing software for Mac OS X.”
