InstallShield Software today announced the immediate availability of MultiPlatform 5, the newest version of its cross-platform installation authoring solution. InstallShield MultiPlatform offers software developers a single solution for creating, testing and maintaining installations for multiple platforms. Version 5 now includes support for Mac OS X and more flavors of UNIX, Java Swing support and a host of new install actions. MultiPlatform is priced at US$2,499 for new customers and $1,149 for upgrades.
