Avondale Media says they want Mac users to get an iLife. The company today announced iDay 2003, a series of fun, informative, one-day seminars devoted to Apple’s iLife programs: iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD, as well as the iPod, iCal, and iSync. Veteran and known Mac journalist Jim Heid is the host and editorial director of iDay 2003, and the author of “The Macintosh iLife,” an upcoming book/DVD hybrid published by Peachpit Press. Heid has been working extensively with the new iLife suite, making him specifically qualified to “demystify their new capabilities.” “iDay 2003 is about learning, having fun, and hooking up with fellow Mac fans,” said Heid. “We’re unabashed Mac lovers, and we wanted to put together the kind of day that we’d like to attend ourselves.”
