Avie Tevanian, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, has joined a small but growing list of company executives who have filed to sell a significant number of shares in Apple. Tevanian filed to sell 87,920 shares, valued at about US$2.1 million, with an approximate sale date of last Friday, according to Dow Jones Newswires (link unavailable). In the past month, CFO Fred Anderson, Executive Vice President Tim Cook, Senior Vice President Nancy Heinen, and board member Sina Tamaddon, have filed to sell more than $25 million worth of Apple stock.

Your Mac Life, an Internet-based Mac radio show hosted by Shawn King, has announced its lineup for tonight’s broadcast (21:00 – 23:00 ET). The show will feature award winning Sound Designer Jeff Elmassian, Creative Director for Endless Noise; Frank Casanova, Apple’s Director of QuickTime Marketing; and a look at the upcoming Macworld Expo in New York City next month. Apple has just released Mac OS X 10.1.5, an update that delivers improved reliability to Mac OS X applications, improved networking, security, support for PC Card serial communication devices, and expanded peripheral device support. The update is available via the Software Update utility.
