Casady & Greene has released iDataPro, simple database software for keeping track of virtually any kind of information. Formerly iknown as InfoGenie, iDataPro is available for Mac OS 8.6 and later, as well as Mac OS X, and is billed as an affordable alternative for those who don’t require all the features of high-end database application. iDataPro is available for US$39.95; upgrades from InfoGenie 1.x or 2.x are $19.95, while competitive upgrades are $29.95.

Griffin Technology has introduced the iCurve, a laptop stand designed specifically for Apple’s iBook and PowerBook G4. The clear plastic stand is designed to reduce desktop clutter, improve airflow circulation, and raise the height of the laptop’s display to a more comfortable level. The iCurve sells for US$39.99.

Xplain Corporation will be managing the MacTech Central Pavilion and International Pavilion at Apple Expo, the company announced today. Apple Expo takes place September 10-14 in Paris and is Europe’s largest Mac event. Companies interested in exhibiting in one of the Pavilion’s should contact Xplain; MacTech Central stations cost US$1,995, while International stations cost $2,495. Both include one-meter of space, an iMac, Internet connection, text header, stool and exhibitor badges.
