Apple will reportedly announce its first International retail store on Wednesday, according to c|net. The store will be located in Amsterdam; no further information is available. Also on Wednesday, Apple will open its latest U.S. retail store, in New York City’s SoHo district.

El Gato Software today announced EyeTV, a TiVo-like digital video recorder. EyeTV allows users watch TV on their Mac, record programs to their hard drive for viewing later, pause live television, skip commercials, instantly replay a scene, or watch in slow motion. SONICblue ships new Rio 900

SONICblue announced the Rio 900 today, the latest iteration of its Flash memory-based digital audio player. The Rio 900 features 192MB of memory, a 10-hour battery, adjustable EQ, and iTunes compatibility. Upgradeable memory backpacks can add an additional 128MB of storage to the device.
