In an email sent out to some viewers, TechTV confirmed this afternoon that it will not be carrying Steve Jobs’ Macworld Expo keynote tomorrow morning, as the station has done previously. “Apple will not allow us to air it live or in it’s entirety,” the email says, without offering any further reasons.

Contour A/V Solutions introduced the SpaceShuttle today, a five-button programmable jog and shuttle controller modeled after the company’s SuttlePRO. The USB device will begin shipping in August, pricing has not yet been announced. At press time, Contour had yet to update its site with information regarding the product.

The MathWorks announced today it will be exhibiting MATLAB and Simulinkits, its latest technical computing software for the scientific and academic communities at Macworld Expo in NYC this week. The MathWorks recently announced that its products will be available on Mac OS X — shipping in August 2002 — with the Student Version for Mac OS X becoming available in next six to nine months.
