Apple iCal now available

Apple has announced that iCal, its calendar software for Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar), is now available. “Never before has it been so easy to manage all the calendars in your life,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO in the press release. “iCal features a breakthrough way to share calendars over the Internet—with colleagues, friends, family, customers, suppliers, students and parents.” iCal is available immediately as a free download and requires Mac OS X 10.2.

eZedia plug-in bundle for iMovie announced

eZedia today announced its plug-in bundle for iMovie 2 at Apple Expo Paris. The bundle includes eZeMatte, eZeScreen and eZeClip, which allow iMovie users to add images, borders, frames, themes, logos, movies, blue-screen and picture-in-picture effects to iMovie clips. eZedia Plug-in Bundle for iMovie, which costs US$69, requires Mac OS X and iMovie 2.1.1 or greater.
