The Mac OS X UNIX Tip-of-the-Day is put together daily by Adrian Mayo, the OSXFAQ Senior Editor for Mac OS X Unix, and will be delivered 5 days a week with tips for learning, using, and enjoying the UNIX underpinnings of Mac OS X.

Mireth Technology today released MacVCD X 4.1, an update to its popular Video CD player for Mac OS X. Version 4.1 adds support for Super VCD playback (with Apple’s Quicktime MPEG2 component), Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) compatibility, playback in a re-sizeable floating window, a repeat track feature, and provides improved playback on slower machines. MacVCD X is priced at US$19.95.
