Interactive Media Corporation today introduced the KanguruMicro Drive +, an upgradeable USB flash drive with the ability to increase its capacity through the use of Secure Digital or MultiMedia Cards. The ultra-compact device comes in 32MB (US$49.95), 64MB ($69.95), 128MB ($99.95), and 256MB ($179.95) capacities. The drive offers plug and play capability, requires no external power, and is driverless with most operating systems.

Mac Radio today announced the launch of a new radio program hosted by none other than popular author, columnist and all around Mac geek, Andy Ihnatko. Andy Ihnatko’s Weekly Write-Off, which can be heard Thursday at 9:00 PM ET tonight, will feature 30 pre-recorded minutes of his “eccentric views and amazing tastes regarding the internet, technology, and the Mac universe,” notes the announcement. Swift 3D version 3.0 released

Electric Rain has released Swift 3D version 3.0, the latest version of its application for creating dynamic vector-based 3D animations for the Web, as noted by VersionTracker. Swift 3D can export into the Macromedia Flash (SWF) file format, as well as Adobe Illustrator, and EPS. The update adds enhanced 3D vector realism, photorealistic raster output, and a new Flash MX Importer with SmartLayer technology.
