RealNetworks today announced the availability of a new plug-in for Adobe Premiere, which provides support for RealVideo 9 encoding. “RealVideo 9 provides a 30% bandwidth savings over RealVideo 8, enabling content providers either to maintain their current quality level and save on bandwidth costs or improve quality and maintain current bandwidth rates.” The RealMedia plug-in is available for Adobe Premiere 6.0 and 6.5 on Mac OS 9 and Windows platforms.
