Angelo Scicolone today released XChar 3.0, a new version of the OS X utility that allows you to use uncommon characters, even if you don’t remember the correct key combination. The software displays a window containing all the characters that your Mac can display and allows you to drag and drop a character to the place where you need it. Version 3.0 now displays HTML codes for special characters, provides faster application loading and better overall responsiveness, fixes numerous bugs, and offers several other feature enhancements. XChar is US$10 shareware.
