Several readers note that Amazon.com is offering its own US$50 rebate on Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar, resulting in a price of $79.99. Additionally, Amazon.com offers free SuperSaver shipping. Updated (11:30) – While Amazon.com’s page lists the $50 rebate, printing out the rebate specified Mac OS X 10.1, not 10.2 (although another coupon notes 10.2). We are currently seeking clarification from Amazon. Also, MacSlash notes that some retailers are offering slightly discounted .mac annual memberships. MacWarehouse, for example, offers it for $94.95, while Small Dog caries it for $95.95. Neither retailer has stock of the item, however. Updated (17:10) – Amazon.com has confirmed that the $50 rebate on Mac OS X 10.2 is indeed valid. The rebate applies to purchases made between July 29 and September 3.
