In his column today for the Chicago Sun-Times, Andy Ihnatko explains why he likes writing about Apple products, even though the vast majority of people use PCs. “By strict numbers, the Macintosh operating system only represents about 5 percent of the desktop industry’s users. But I put it to you that the Macintosh operating system accounts for at least 50 percent of the industry’s innovation.” In particular, Ihnatko gives high marks to iChat AV, which he says is a “flawless videoconferencing tool.”
